About this listing
A performance-focused 5-string Yamaha bass combining active/passive flexibility, powerful humbucking tone, and refined modern playability.
5-string configuration with extended low B range
Active/passive electronics for expanded tonal flexibility
YGD-designed H5 humbuckers deliver punch, clarity, and dynamic response
3-band active EQ allows detailed tone shaping without losing articulation
Translucent White finish gives the TRBX505 a clean modern visual character
The Yamaha TRBX505 is built for players who need extended low-end performance, modern versatility, and dependable construction without sacrificing feel or tonal clarity. Its YGD-designed H5 humbuckers produce tight lows, focused mids, and articulate highs that remain balanced across clean, driven, and more aggressive playing styles.
The active/passive electronics system allows players to quickly switch between powerful active EQ shaping and a more natural passive response depending on the musical situation. Combined with the flexible 3-band EQ, the TRBX505 adapts easily to studio recording, live performance, and modern multi-genre playing where tonal flexibility matters.
Built around Yamaha’s ergonomic TRBX body platform, the TRBX505 offers excellent balance, fast modern playability, and strong long-session comfort. The satin-finished neck keeps the instrument feeling smooth and responsive, while the Translucent White finish gives the bass a sharper contemporary look without feeling flashy or overdesigned.
