A 6.5 by 14-inch Leedy Broadway Standard snare drum from the late 40s, with the short-lived pre-Leedy & Ludwig badge. White Marine Pearl wrap, nickel hardware, 3-point extended strainer and extended butt plate. Complete and all original except the heads and wires. No date stamp, or if there is one it's illegible.
Excellent condition, this drum is collector grade. Light cosmetic wear on the hardware, wrap seam tight, shell and hoops in round, no ply issues, no extra holes anywhere, original bearing edges perfect top and bottom. The only flaw of note is a small bent area by one of the wire gates, as pictured. The strainer is smooth and solid, all hardware works properly.
