For sale: a genuine matched pair of AKG C414 B-ULS large diaphragm condenser microphones, manufactured in Austria. These are the original externally polarized version — one of the most respected studio condensers ever made.

History & condition:
The microphones were professionally serviced by AKG approximately 7 years ago at a renowned Austrian recording studio. At that studio, they were selected from multiple C414 B-ULS units and paired together specifically for their exceptional linearity and matched response. I have owned them since approximately 2019. Condition: Shows normal signs of wear for its age — minor finish wear consistent with professional studio use over 35 years. Fully functional, sonically pristine.

On request I can share a link with: a test video with stereo mix (recorded 22.06.2026), raw WAV files (stereo, mono L, mono R), DAW screenshots (Studio One — only two compressors and a limiter applied), and a phase-cancellation test: with one channel polarity-flipped, nearly everything cancels out — leaving only minimal high-frequency content due to the physical capsule distance. This confirms excellent linearity between both microphones.
