K.Yairi, a top brand that has continuously supported the world of Japanese folk guitars, maintains its commitment to handmade craftsmanship by a small team of highly skilled artisans in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture, both now and in the past.

It is one of the few Japanese brands that offers acoustic basses as a regular part of its lineup.

Compared to fretted basses, fretless basses produce a warmer tone closer to that of an upright bass.

The mellow sound produced when using flatwound or black nylon strings is a charm that electric basses cannot replicate.

It produces a very full-bodied acoustic sound, and even when plugged into an amplifier, it outputs a sound that is like the acoustic sound has been amplified without any coloration.

The controls are simple, consisting only of volume and tone, but the tone can be used to adjust the definition or suppress the string click sound, making it a simple yet excellent control system!
