Very cool SG Standard style guitar Made In Japan in the late 1980's by Greco. Circa 1989 based on the 5 digit serial number starting with 9. Based on the 1989 catalog, this would appear to be their SS63-60 model in the optional white finish. Essentially a Polaris White SG standard with 2 humbuckers and a Duane Allman type stop tailpiece, a great configuration. The finish has begun to amber to a pleasing vintage look, more than is evident in the photos.
The neck joint is rock solid and the headstock is unbroken. The pickups are a set of Sheptones (about $400) with nickel covers and the caps look upgraded as well. Not sure if the potentiometers are original. The previous owner installed a set of mini Grover Rotomatics (note the screw holes on the back of the headstock outside the tuner footprint). Now has Kluson style tuners back on with conversion bushings. I will include the Grovers for you in case you want to put them back. Also comes with a nice modern hard case. A wonderful utility or backup guitar for gigging and alternate tunings.
