The wire coming out of the pickup is about 8" long with a 1/8" Male connector on the end of it. It also has another wire that is nearly 15" long that has a female 1/8" connector on one end to connect the pickup and the other end of that wire has a standard 1/4" acoustic jack on it. There is plenty of wire to reach inside of any guitar.
