It's a Gibsen (actually, it's a Greco).

Here is a lovely Japanese 1960s Greco/Encore ES335 from the Matsumoku factory. It was hilariously rebadged as Gibsen by the previous owner (we assume in the sixties given the home-made bubble font). As if Greco wasn't good enough! It looks to be all original aside from a possible tailpce replacement. It has a trem system and a very well-crafted trem arm, lovingly fashioned from a spoon handle (see pics). It plays well and is in very nice condition with only a few finish cracks near the neck pocket. There is a mystery hole where perhaps a master volume was once added and then removed. Neck is straight, fretboard and frets are good. Tuners hold well and the action is reasonable. Like all vintage guitars we suggest a setup to your liking once received. We ship neck off for safety unless otherwise requested. The final two pictures show a Greco with the original badge for reference (not this guitar).

This used vintage Greco/Encore Semi-Hollow Guitar from the late 1960s to early 1970s is a beautifully crafted ES-335 style instrument, made in Japan at the renowned Matsumoku factory.
