Paul Reed Smith's McCarty models have been among PRS's iconic in-house designs for decades, combining traditional 1950s construction concepts with state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques. With the Experience 10-Top Edition, PRS presented a strictly limited special series in 2016, for which PRS Europe boss Kieran Morgan selected exquisite woods from the Wood Library program – the instruments are an absolute statement in terms of both appearance and sound.

This McCarty features an extremely lightweight mahogany body (total weight 3.38kg) combined with a richly figured flamed maple top, which together produce excellent resonance with tight bass, clear mids, and bell-like highs, carried by a lively overtone spectrum.

The two PRS USA 58/15LT humbuckers are among the finest PRS pickups ever made and deliver a warm, open, and defined tone. From singing leads to transparent clean sounds, the set impresses with its dynamics and richness of detail. The push/pull coil split also allows you to access an authentically shimmering singlecoil mode, opening up a wide range of sounds for studio and stage.
