These Ortega soft cases are made out of a canvas/cotton surface with real suede leather inlays.  They have 22 mm (.86") of soft sponge padding on top of a 5 mm (.20") hardened plastic frame.  The interior is a plush black velvet, and has a neck brace with Velcro safety straps to ensure the instrument doesn't shift during transit.  With heave duty zippers, adjustable comfortable shoulder straps, and with two front compartments this case is a fantastic choice for the traveling musician.
