This piece was used as a source selector and monitor switcher in a former iteration of my studio. It served me very well until I eventually overhauled my studio and upgraded to a console. i’ve kept it on hand looking for another application to use it, but I’m pretty content with my current set up and would like to find a Loving Home for this piece. The New Old Sound McONE is a 3-in/3-out monitor controller. The N.O.S. McONE is a high-quality, simple and compact monitor controller. It handles up to three stereo inputs as well as three stereo input sources. The controller comes is a beautiful desktop box and consists exclusively of premium components. The voluptuous volume knob features great feel and makes extremely precise control possible. It is also very practical with the possibility to switch the signal to mono in order to test the mono compatibility, as well as a mute switch. Because the device is built-up passively, no power adapter is required.

If you need a simple, inexpensive solution for your studio monitoring – McONE is the answer. Assembled from quality parts in a nice desktop box, with common monitoring functions McONE will not change your sound in the least. There are no active parts at all and no power supply. Balanced 1/4'' TRS sockets on the back panel provide easy connections to your sources and studio monitoring system (The McONE is Unbalanced internally). A big Volume knob on a carefully selected potentiometer gives a pleasant operational feeling.
