The FOCUS-NX is a completely new pedal that retains the compressor functions and operability of the “focus”. The FOCUS-NX is tuned specifically for use before distortion on distortion pedals and amplifiers. Allowing you to incorporate compression, gain boost, and mid- boost in a balance that suits you and your sound design.

For the compression function, the "compression LED" allows you to check how much compression is being applied. You can intuitively understand when the LED lights up, intensity of the light, and when it is turned off.

It can be used as a compressor with natural tone by setting "color1 and 2" knobs to 12 o’clock. Or it can be used as a clean booster or gain booster without compression.
