Up for sale is a beautiful and discontinued Alvarez A-800 F-Style mandolin from the desirable "Gitanes" series.

This instrument captures the classic F-5 aesthetic and rich, traditional voice from Alvarez's acclaimed import era. It features stunning mother-of-pearl "Tree of Life" headstock/fretboard inlays and comes upgraded for modern stage performance.

Upgrades & Features:

• Custom Luthier Bone Nut: Replaced the factory nut with a hand-carved bone nut made by a professional luthier, significantly improving sustain, tuning stability, and overall acoustic tone.
• LR Baggs Pickup Installed: Equipped with an LR Baggs pickup system (wired to a side jack). It delivers an exceptionally natural amplified tone, making it stage-ready without feedback issues (a ~€200 pickup upgrade alone).
• Top: Solid Carved Spruce in Tobacco Sunburst.
• Back & Sides: Flame Maple with a gorgeous tiger-grain figure.
• Neck/Fretboard: Bound neck with intricate "Tree of Life" position inlays.
• Headstock: Classic Alvarez peghead with floral inlay and gold tuning hardware.

• Condition: Good. Shows normal, light player wear and superficial varnish scratches consistent with age, but structurally 100% solid—no top sinking, no cracks in the F-holes, straight neck, and smooth low action.
