These are things of legend - an original WEM Monitor Reverb dating to the early 1970s. I found this stunning piece in Ireland, where it had been sat in an old amp tech's shed for decades, untouched! I got it back to the UK and had my tech restore it to its former glory. Honestly - it's a stunner! Cosmetically in great condition, still with the original WEM logo and the silver metal strip along the front (usually missing on most WEM amps). The original Goodmans green label speakers both work well, and sound amazing. The valves are a mixture of originals and newer replacements, and all work / sound awesome. When I got it, it was missing the output transformer so my tech put a Hammond 1750P in. The mains transformer is a very nice Drake 1201-110 (similar to the 50w Marshall of the same period). It's been re-capped, along with a few other smaller component changes to bring it up to spec. It now sings - a stunning amplifier indeed! Please see the pictures as they form part of my description.
