The Gibson Custom Shop 1957 Les Paul Special Reissue in TV Yellow is based on one of the most distinctive solid-body models of the late 1950s and combines classic design with the high-quality craftsmanship of the Gibson Custom Shop.
The guitar features a mahogany body, a set mahogany neck with a long neck tenon, and a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Two Gibson Custom Soapbar P-90 pickups—known for their direct response, high dynamics, and the classic, open single-coil sound—deliver the guitar’s signature tone. The combination of a wraparound bridge, TV Yellow nitrocellulose lacquer finish, and classic vintage specifications makes this model an authentic reinterpretation of the 1957 Les Paul Special.
The guitar is in very good condition with no cracks or repairs. Signs of wear are limited to the first 3 frets of the neck, but this is purely cosmetic and does not interfere with playing.
Included with the guitar is an original Gibson Lifton case, as well as the original Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and additional hangtags.
