A fine Italian labeled violin possibly bench copied not much refferance material.

A fine instrument with a robust tone the varnish changes in light day or indoors indicative of Hiroshi Kono varnish set up very nicely and ready to play Two piece maple belly with even grain of very fine figure, and even across from top to bottom of the belly. The spruce bridge seems above it's grade Aubert French but it could be graded higher because of it's fine grain as well. Set up nice and lightly for a bright and projecting tone. The back is of very wide flame making it very attractive; sides, neck and very masculine scroll are a nice touch with similar timbers. European aged wood up to 20 years. The fittings are all ebony; pegs, french style bridge with single 'e' fine tuner with loop protector for longevity very light and comfortable to play, Guarneri chin-rest. Set up with brand new Larsen 'Il Cannone Solo Warm & Broad A' for best tonal production. The varnish shows ware, the tone is warm and booming suitable for any musician soloist, folk, mariachi and enthusiast or serious student advancing to college or conservatoirefor a higher degree without breaking the bank.
Varnish has a dark red huge indoors and brightens in natural light with many colors shining through it's a beautiful instrument to play and look at as a piece of art.
