The sublime and beautiful vintage 70's Ward Beck M480C preamps with 3 band eq!
These guys made more records for me over the years than I can remember. People would come to the studio just to track guitars, horns, drums and of course vocals for That sound ... they're not known as the Canadian Neves for nothing!
They are Freakin marvellous - and there are four here so you'll be set up for tone, vibe and audio beautifullness.
The preamps are transformer fronted so can be pushed into for delicious, natural analog saturation whether you are recording - or indeed mixing as they can be switched to line - and yes - you can mix through all four of these guys at the same time - the inputs and outputs are wired to a jack loom (about 5 feet long) for easy patchbay fitting.
So - not only 4 fantastic world renown microphone preamps - you can also use the line inputs to process audio with saturation and eq - making your mixes come to life and sound More glorious!
Fully working - serviced 20 odd years ago by an ex beeb tech then Very well looked after by me - there are two tiny issues - channel 1's pad knob doesn't latch, and channel 2's LF plastic knob looks to have had a bit melted - purely cosmetic and does not affect the working of the unit one jot.
I think this is the only 4 channel M480c for sale on the hinternet atm - so pretty rare, especially over here in Blighty.
