A great piece of history and one of the most beautiful ones. Ampeg was a great company really ahead of its time. Made so many jewels and this is one of them. An early 60s handwired B 18 amp. The specific period last till 1963. Its way more beautiful, robust and easy to repair if needed. The tone is awesome and their design to fold inside the cab for protection is really clever. Its beauty is great and the amp is a hot sizling 2X6L6 in >500V. The dynamics are great. Its more responsive than a B 15. You can hook it to another speaker if you do not dig the 18" but this sounds awesome with guitars too. The speaker is awesome with other instruments too.... Big. It was retolexed way back and there is a mark in the tolex of the head in the centre front from one of the bolts of the speaker when turned inside. I cut this to avoid any further wear when I bought it. I had it as a museum piece. Turned on just two times now a 15 years. I have too many amps and need the money.
