Founded in 1931, Rickenbacker gained recognition for creating the world’s first electric guitar and for being adopted by a world-famous British rock band; since then, it has continued to maintain a unique presence well into the 21st century.

While Rickenbacker is known for its hard-hitting, punchy sound, it is used across all genres, including pop and jazz, and it is no exaggeration to say it has become one of the industry’s standard models.

Thanks to its through-neck construction, it offers long sustain. Despite its unique body shape, it maintains excellent balance and provides solid playability all the way up to the high frets.

This 4003S features a non-binding finish, dot inlays, and a mono jack. Sonically, it produces a round tone with a solid midrange.

The guitar is in overall excellent condition. The truss rod has plenty of adjustment left, and both the neck and electronics are in perfect working order. There are a few minor scratches, but they are barely noticeable.

There is some paint lifting on the fingerboard surface and a crack on the fret side, which are typical of Rickenbacker guitars, but they do not affect playability.

This color is no longer in production, so if you are interested, please inquire as soon as possible.
