Burny did not skimp on the cosmetic features of this guitar! A black beauty Les Paul Custom copy, and with three pickups to boot. The holy grail of Les Pauls? For me, it certainly is!
A powerhouse of a Burny from the 90s, and at 3.9 kg, ridiculously light for a Les Paul from this era. Yet made of rock-solid mahogany with a solid mahogany top!
The guitar is completely original except for a few screws—yes, the original Burny/Gotoh VH-3 pickups are still in there! PAF output, but with enough punch to really rock! They have a beautiful low end, which gives the guitar that true, heavy, typical Les Paul sound!
The fretwork also looks very good and is at a great height for a guitar from that era. A nice neck with binding just like you would expect from a Custom, but just a little bit slimmer. Great for fast playing!
The hardware is completely original and made by Gotoh, so very reliable. The guitar and hardware do show some scratches and wear, though. What also stands out is a small ding in the pickup cover of the middle pickup. Other than that, the guitar is in very good original condition; it’s a beautiful, well-loved vintage LP!
