Up for sale, a 1993 Fender Jazz Bass '62 vintage reissue model in very good functional condition and in perfect working order. An early Fender Japan model, this "Made in Japan" Jazz Bass was produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and select international territories, uncommon outside its country of origin.
With a basswood body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, this Jazz Bass has a balanced, smooth acoustic quality. Plugged in, the pair of single coil pickups deliver a touch of aggressive growl, ample midrange presence and burp, and low end authority, comfortable action, and spot-on intonation.
Lots of scratches, chips, dents, darkening of the hardware, nothing serious. There are some ugly additional milling cuts under the control board, they are not visible
Neck, truss rod and frets are in very good condition.
The Weight 4 kg, not hard case
