Nickel membranes
Very sweet sounding tube mics with the “nickel sound” !!
JUST SERVICED!
Inc original PSU’s ( UPDATE; with outputs modified to XLR! ) and cabling, with ONE original clamp.
They have extra tight nickel membranes, and because of that they have a slight low-cut beneath 200hz, but don’t rule them out for that reason!! there are many scenario’s where these are the perfect microphones! It also doesn’t mean that these mics have no low end, there is plenty of that! it’s just balanced a bit different.to be clear, these are GORGEOUS SOUNDING MICS!!
For vocals these are really yummy!! they are comparable to Neumann KMS 104/ 105 which have the same type of bass roll off .
READ THIS UPDATE: they are both factory wired for 200 ohm, before I wrote that they were wired differently, but this was a mistake!!
