Overview: Doublecut Les Paul! I mean, that's essentially what it is. These Japanese-made old Yamahas are becoming popular these days. They're built well and they have a solid feel and sound. This one is a head-turner for just the right type of customer in-shop. You know, the ones who are babbling rawk under their breath as they hit the doors on the way in...!

A buddy of mine has owned this since new, as I recall, and has babied it well over the years. It has only moderate wear here and there and mostly confined to the edges. The pickups are on the darker, hotter side for the time so they were clearly intended more for feeding into a lot of dirt and drive to get that sustain going full-tilt than for jazz-comp use or the like.

Repairs included: It got a level/dress of the frets, restring, cleaning, and setup work as I recall. It's playing spot-on and ready to serve.
