A limited-edition TEAM BUILT CUSTOM model. This is a knotty pine Telecaster.

The body features a Thinline style, but the body top is crafted from pine.

This knotty pine specification intentionally showcases the natural knots on the top.

This specification was once released as a limited edition by Gretsch. Currently, it is a special lineup produced exclusively by Gretsch’s U.S.-made Custom Shop,

specifically within the Masterbuilt class.

In addition to the eye-catching body top, the neck is a sublime one-piece quarter-sawn maple neck. The fingerboard is made of carefully selected 3A-grade rosewood, making for a truly impressive spec.

The guitar itself delivers a slightly crisp output.

While retaining the classic Telecaster tone character, it has a slightly mid-focused sound.

The well-defined, forward-pushing character is a sound you couldn’t experience with a Fender, somewhat reminiscent of the Gretsch Jet series.

There are a few scattered dents of about 1mm, but overall it is in excellent condition.

The neck is currently straight, and the truss rod functions without issue. The frets are also mostly intact.

This Custom Shop model takes not only the looks but also the tone of the traditional Telecaster to the next level.
