Hofner President E2 Thin Early 1960s - Brunette

This is a well kept and enjoyed Hofner President E2 Thin with a vintage sunburst finish termed Brunette.
Having owned many many Hofners from this era I can assure this is an excellent example. Take a good look at the pictures. Low comfortable action. All original parts. Lightweight hollow body.
You might ask about the line going around the heel. This is a joint, and the cellulose finish has moved at this point.
And what’s that at the bottom of the headstock? The guitarist owner used a vintage strap with string at each end. This is a string burn in the lacquer! Standard signs of 1960s use.
Included is a quality gig bag, but I can upgrade to a new Gibson style hard case for just £50 extra.
