This is a 2004 Gibson USA SG Standard in heritage cherry with hardcase, S/N 005945xx. It is in Excellent condition in my opinion as I struggled to find any dings or marks on it at all. I am selling as Very Good as I dont want any surprises or disappointments on either side. There was a very minor ding as seen in the last picture and was the biggest imperfection I could find. The pic of the top side of the body shows a black imperfection which was adhesive and came right off with no trace as I didnt see it until I took the picture. He bought this guitar with the 490R & 498T pickups removed and replaced with a Gibson Classic ’57 humbucker in the neck and a Gibson Classic ’57 Plus humbucker in the bridge. It had CTS 500K pots put in with Sprague Orange Drops at the time of the humbucker replacement. The original pickups, pots and capacitors were not included when he bought the guitar so not included in this sale either of course. He put on strap locks which are installed and the strap side locks and the original buttons are included. Case came with the guitar when he bought it and looks original with the combo guard still inserted. Just a great guitar for being over 20 years old.
