Great piece. 1928 Martin 0-18KH conversion.
C. F. Martin & Co. built this model from 1927–1928 as a Hawaiian-style slide guitar, during the height of the Hawaiian music craze. Over the years, many were converted to “Spanish” style to accommodate more traditional fretted playing.
This example features new bar frets, a neck reset, and a radiused fingerboard completed by respected luthier Taras Andre. 1-7/8" nut width. The bridge has been replaced, and the original bridge is included in the case. Andre’s craftsmanship truly shines here—this guitar looks, sounds, and plays like a vintage Martin should.
No cracks, no overspray, and in remarkable condition for an instrument nearing the century mark.
