Unlike the classic R8 models in burst finish, this exceptional 1958 Les Paul Reissue special model from the Gibson Custom Shop in 2013 features an incredibly richly grained flamed maple top, which immediately brings to mind an R9 or R0 and looks incredibly delicious beneath the rare thin blonde natural finish. The V.O.S. nitro finish with single-ply cream body binding and shiny nickel hardware give the guitar a harmonious look, while the rosewood fingerboard, also framed by cream binding, impresses with its strikingly wild brown grain and authentically aged cellulose nitrate trapezoid inlays.

High-quality Gibson Custombucker humbuckers in P.A.F. style provide the vintage Les Paul sound, delivering the warm, woody tone you're looking for. The solid mahogany body without weight reduction delivers plenty of punch and tone, while the long neck tenon extending deep into the body ensures efficient sound transmission, resulting in an impressively creamy sustain.
