A great example of a 1985 Cedar 1a De Camara model by José Ramirez 111. Ramirez developed the De Camara to help control the wolf notes that can sometimes occur on even the best-made guitars. It's like a rosewood shelf attached to the sides of the guitar. José 111 has to be one of the most underrated makers, he is responsible for the popularity of Cedar soundboards and increasing the depth of classical guitars and how many groundbreaking recordings were made on Ramirez 1a guitars over the years.
This guitar is in very good condition, the tuners have been replaced with Scheller. The guitar also has the extra 20th fret and a French polished top. There is some playing wear and a few small scratches but no cracks. It is the Ramirez 664 scale. I've recently had the guitar set up bu Robin Moyes so it plays beautifully. The back and sides are East Indian rosewood.
