1977 Yamaha 7000 drums in silky brown.
All parts are from September 1977 and manufactured in Japan, before moving production to Taiwan. In other words, it must be one of the first 7000 copies that were produced and must have left the factory with this configuration:
BD 24”x14”
FT 18”x16”
TT 14”x10”
TT 13"x9"
In 1977 Yamaha only produced the 9000 and 7000 series, being a precursor of both the 8000 and 5000 series.
The shells are mahogany with an outer layer of camelia.
It has non-original parts and some rust and pitting...
The drums arrived in poor condition and I tried to recover it as much as possible.
All batter heads are remo ambassador coated.
