The Vox V847 Wah Wah is a classic guitar effects pedal that delivers the expressive, vocal-like sweep associated with the iconic Vox wah sound. Operated with a traditional rocker pedal, it lets you continuously shape the frequency response with your foot, from darker, rounded tones to a bright and cutting upper-midrange emphasis.

Designed as a modern interpretation of the original Vox wah pedals of the 1960s, the V847 is well suited to expressive lead playing, rhythmic wah patterns and distinctive filtered guitar tones. Its straightforward design keeps the focus on the characteristic sweep and responsive feel that made the wah effect an essential part of electric guitar history.

The pedal features a durable metal housing with a non-slip treadle surface and simple input and output connections. The effect is switched on and off by pressing the toe end of the treadle. The V847 can be powered by a 9V battery or a compatible external power supply, making it a practical choice for both pedalboard use and standalone setups.
