The DSL40CRC is a Guitar Center exclusive variant of Marshall's DSL40CR — the same 40-watt all-tube two-channel platform in a limited-edition cream levant covering with basketweave grille cloth and block logo. Four 12AX7 preamp tubes and two EL34 power tubes drive two channels, each with two switchable voices — Classic Gain covering clean to crunch, Ultra Gain covering blues to high-gain saturation — with independent gain, volume, tone shift, and master controls per channel. Resonance and Presence controls, digital reverb with independent channel levels, and switchable high and low power modes round out the feature set. The Softube-developed emulated output accurately models the Marshall 1960 cabinet for direct recording or silent practice. This unit is loaded with a Marshall-branded G12 Vintage speaker — a UK-made driver that predates the current Celestion Vintage 30 and is increasingly sought after in its own right.
This one is in Very Good condition and fully functional across both channels, reverb, effects loop, power attenuation, and emulated output. There is a couple-inch dent and crack in the tolex above the power switch on the front :brow" of the amp, and some scuffing and a minor scratch on the back — see photos for reference. Otherwise wear is minimal.
