Description

La Bella’s Mandolin Series reflects a long tradition of crafting dependable strings for the bright, expressive voice of the mandolin. The 770M set is designed for medium tension and standard eight-string mandolin configurations, with loop ends for straightforward installation. Its combination of silver-plated wound strings and plain steel trebles provides a balanced foundation for both melody and accompaniment, while the 11–38 gauge range offers a comfortable, versatile feel.

These strings suit a wide range of playing situations, from traditional folk, bluegrass, and country to ensemble performance and studio recording. The construction supports a clear, lively response while retaining warmth across the instrument’s soprano register. Supplied as a complete eight-string set, the 770M is made in the USA with American wire and protected in MAP packaging, helping prevent tarnish and preserve freshness until the strings are ready to play.
