JOHN 5
Telecaster
This listing is for my EXCELLENT CONDITION 2004 Fender John 5 Telecaster. If you follow John 5, you know he’s a very accomplished and talented player at a high level. Manson, Zombie and now crossing into the mainstream with Motley. Im glad his audience is expanding to appreciate what he brings to the table. His Signature Telecaster is VERY unique and WOW—This one weighs in at a fantastic 9.0 Pounds.
Call our friends at Fender with the serial number MSN619120 and they will verify this John 5 J5 Telecaster was finished November 2004. Visit the Fender guitar serial number page, plug this serial in and you get the full specification sheet. These came with the Fender Gig Bag but as a bonus THIS ONE COMES WITH A HEAVY DUTY HARD-SHELL CASE.
Happy to tell you this J5 Telecaster is in EXCELLENT Condition all around. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to photograph a glossy Black guitar with Mirror Pickguard and Chrome all over? This guitar looks like it has barely been played. The chrome pick guard and hardware is a mirror shine. No dings, chips or scratches that I can find to show you. WOW.
The rear body is a glossy mirror black shine. No buckle rash or evidence of being played. Barely even a polish swirl mark. This J5 looks like it was bought 22 years ago and forgotten about in a temperature controlled, smoke free home.
No rust, the rosewood board is clean and rich. Neck is straight, Frets are clean. Just Amazing. The chrome hardware, tuners, single neck pickup are a smooth, mirror shine. I love the long headstocks on these. It really gives the John 5 a unique look on a classic Telecaster body.
