⚡️1973 Silverface Musicmaster Bass amp⚡️. Delivering 12 watts via two 6AQ5 tubes and one 12AX7, and featuring a 12-inch speaker, this amp—originally designed for bassists—has been widely adopted in the studio by many guitarists (Dan Auerbach, Noel Gallagher, Tomo Fujita...).

It offers more headroom than the Champ and features a 12-inch speaker (unlike the Princeton’s 10-inch); its simple circuit delivers a beautiful, dynamic clean tone and a gorgeous, warm crunch at very manageable volumes!
Few amps manage to combine an open sound with such solid sonic presence without making your ears bleed.

I’m particularly fond of this model with the 6AQ5 tubes; to my ears, they provide extra headroom, a smooth response, and an addictive crunch.

You can certainly use it as a bass practice amp—that’s what it was built for. While you won't get earth-shattering sub-bass, plug a short-scale bass straight in, put a mic in front of it, and you’ll get an incredible bass tone for your recordings!

It has been fully serviced, including the installation of a safety fuse and replacement of the filter capacitors. It also features a reversible mod to optimize the tone control range, bringing it closer to the Fender Harvard sound—a truly effective upgrade that suits it perfectly! 220V amp 😉.

It’s hard to find one in this condition—serviced and sounding this good—but L'Hirondelle has made it happen! And if it ends up staying in the studio, that won't be a problem at all... 🙄
