Hand-built with a 10-ply curly maple shell with matching 10-ply curly maple reinforcement rings, and finished with Maelo's own bearing edges. That's right, the reinforcement rings are built with the exact same curly maple that the shell is made from. This drum is loaded with premium hardware including custom tube lugs, triple flanged hoops, a Trick strainer, and Puresound wires, all finished in a stunning natural high gloss. This drum has never been previously owned. It was built in 2014 and has been displayed at Maelo's work shop as well as demonstrated at some trade shows. To say this instrument tunes up like a champ and is pure sonic bliss to play is an absolute understatement. Enjoy!
