Up for sale is a fully operational E-MU ESI-4000 64-Voice Digital Rackmount Sampler.

NOTE: This model does not have the Rackmount Ears.

This classic late-90s 2U rack unit combines E-MU’s famed sampling engine and warm filters with improved usability. It features a brand-new replacement LCD panel for crisp, clear visibility, along with expanded 64MB RAM for plenty of sampling time.

The unit retains its original factory 3.5" floppy disk drive for authentic vintage workflows and external SCSI connectivity for expandability. It is 100% operational and ready to integrate into your studio setup.

The original factory LCD screen is also included with the sale.

• Audio I/O & Connectivity: Standard 4 analog 1/4" outputs (Main L/R + Sub 1 L/R mix ins/outs), stereo analog sampling inputs, MIDI In/Out/Thru, and an external 50-pin SCSI port.

Condition & Functionality

• Functional Condition: 100% Fully Operational. All buttons, data dial, audio inputs/outputs, MIDI connections, screen backlight, and internal systems pass full operational tests.
• Cosmetic Condition: Very Good overall physical condition with light surface scratches on the top casing from normal studio rack mounting. At one point someone removed the serial numbers from the labels, but that doesn't impact the functionality of the unit. There are two screws missing from the cover, and there are two rack mount screws instead. See pictures. Faceplate is clean and legible.
