Seymour Duncan ASB-BO-5S Blackouts For Bass 5-String Pickup Set
The Seymour Duncan ASB-BO-5S Blackouts deliver aggressive, articulate punch with the responsiveness serious bass players demand. These high-output active pickups cut through dense mixes and maintain clarity across all five strings, making them the choice for players working in heavy genres where definition matters.
Tone & Output Character
The full 8.0 kHz resonant peak pushes the upper midrange, delivering the aggressive presence Blackouts are known for. EQ voicing of 9 / 5 / 9 (Bass / Mid / Treble) emphasizes low-end weight and high-end snap while keeping mids controlled, ideal for slap, modern rock, and metal applications.
Installation & Compatibility
These pickups mount as a direct replacement for EMG 40 sized cavities, making retrofit straightforward on compatible instruments. The 3.10" maximum string spacing accommodates standard and wider 5-string bass neck widths without compromise.
