They're a lot like modern "Made in USA" consumer electronics and amps -- built part there and part here. The result is a high-quality guitar that looked and felt like a proper Martin and was a lot more affordable than a normal Martin D at the time. This one has that classic dreadnought sound with a bit of girthy bottom-end and good volume and punch. I like this guitar a lot as a chord-chucker or backup guitar but it can certainly zip some lead lines and crosspick just fine, too.Repairs included: I gave this a neck reset and Jake Too gave it a level/dress of the frets, fit a new saddle, and set it up. He also took care of a couple of hairline cracks on the top. It's playing spot-on and ready to go. It's also got a K&K pickup installed, too.Weight: 4 lbs 11 ozScale length: 25 3/8"Nut width: 1 11/16"Neck shape: medium VBoard radius: 14"Depth at first fret: 0.87"Depth at seventh fret: 0.97"Body width: 15 3/4"Body depth: 4 7/8"Top wood: solid spruceBack & sides wood: ply rosewoodBracing type: xBridge: rsewoodFretboard: rosewoodNeck wood: mahoganyAction height at 12th fret: 3/32” bass 1/16” treble (fast, spot-on)String gauges: 54w-12 lightsTruss rod: adjustableNeck relief: straightFret style: mediumCondition notes: There's a repaired hairline crack in the upper-bout, bass side. I believe the center seam also got some cleats below the bridge. There's weather-check throughout the finish here and there and light scuffs, scratches, and nicks here and there as well. The heel cap is missing. There's an added strap button near the heel. The bridge pins are not original and brass. It comes with: It has a decent case.Consignor tag: JCFY
