This is the full Workhorse: 8-slot 500 Series power rack with an integrated 8×2 summing mixer. The pooled supply shares 1600 mA across all eight slots, giving you real headroom for current-hungry modules with no brown-outs. Each channel has level, pan and bypass; the Feed switch chains modules into channel strips without patching; every slot carries an Omniport.
Summing runs through Jensen transformers on the main out — the reason to pick this over a plain power frame. Plus a stereo monitor out and a loud dual-output headphone amp. Connectivity: XLR + TRS per channel and DB25 for inputs, outputs and summing, so it's Pro-Tools and DAW-ready out of the box. Expansion buss lets you gang units for 16/24/32 channels.
Rarely available new anymore. If you're building a 500 Series rig, this is the reference chassis with analog summing built in. From a smoke-free professional studio.
