New for 2024, the Fender Custom Shop presents the 1963 Telecaster Relic. A beautifully crafted recreation of the Telecaster from Fender's golden era, this guitar is a perfect combination of the era's appointments.
The two-piece select alder body is artfully aged in Relic® Aged Olympic White, Fiesta Red, and Lake Placid Blue lacquer finishes and is paired with a sawn-maple neck with a '60s-style oval "C" back and a round laminated rosewood fingerboard. With the throaty midrange and bite of a Custom Shop hand-wound Original Blackguard bridge pickup and the crystal clarity of a Custom Shop hand-wound Twisted Tele neck pickup, this guitar delivers classic Telecaster tone with astonishing versatility.
Other premium features include a 9.5" radius, 21 narrow-tall (6105) frets, Modern Tele® wiring with Greasebucket™ tone circuit, 3-way switching, 3-ply mint green pickguard, '58-'63 Tele bridge with threaded steel saddles, vintage-style tuners, bone nut, lug nuts, deluxe hardshell case, strap, and a certificate of authenticity.
