This is an early MRD by Mad Professor handwired in Finland 2006-2010.
These had the same Elfa K430 enclosure as the BJFE used at the time. The brittle finish made them vulnerable to Velcro adhesive tape.
Tested and works.
What’s with all the BJFE related brands?
BJFE started 2000 in Sweden. Handmade pedals by Björn himself with art and lettering by wife Eva.
Mad Professor started 2002 by Harri Koski and Jukka Mönkkönen in Finland with Björn as a Co-founder. They started out with amps and started making pedals 2006. The early ones were handmade in Finland up until 2011.
Mad professor got new owners in 2024.
One control was founded in Japan by Kaz Kawamura and has Björn as a master designer.
Bearfoot FX started in 2011 as a collaboration between Björn and Don Rellergert of Donnerbox and makes updates and twists to many of the BJFE designs.
