Ibanez 2655ZB 1976 - Natural finish

A rare collector’s piece that seldom appears on the market today and an overall great Ibanez vintage guitar.

As a collector I also have several other LP and Strat style vintage Ibanez and I really enjoyed this one due to its natural finish and feel but my vintage collection needs to be reduced.

Rare Ibanez 2655ZB from the legendary 1976 production run – a true piece of Japanese vintage guitar history from the highly sought-after Lawsuit Era. The striking natural finish gives this instrument a unique appearance and unmistakable character. Equipped with its original Hi-Fidelity single-coil pickups, it delivers classic vintage-style tones with clarity, sparkle, and dynamic response. Built in Japan during the period that established Ibanez as one of the world’s premier guitar manufacturers.

The guitar has minor superficial flaws as depicted but is fully functioning. The frets show typical wear for a guitar of this age, but there are currently no issues affecting playability. A refret is not necessary at this time.

Due to a professional setup from a local guitar tech it plays smooth.

It comes with the depicted matching vintage hard case. The back plate is missing.

As a highlight the Star tuners are still on the guitar and very smooth with great tuning stability.
