This guitar is part of Martin’s renowned Vintage Series, which was created as Martin’s first coordinated effort to offer affordable regular production models featuring authentic pre-war characteristics, combined with modern post-war improvements. For many guitar enthusiasts who have become Martin owners in recent years, models like this represent the pinnacle of recreating the look, feel, and tone of the original pre-war instruments.

This 00028VS stands apart from the standard version with its Modified V mahogany neck, wide nut, and wider string spacing at the bridge. While most 000 guitars feature a short scale length, this is not the case with this Martin. The ebony fingerboard not only provides a beautiful contrast with the rosewood headplate, but also contributes to the clarity, definition, and articulation of the tone.

This 12-fret Martin produces a surprisingly full sound. The low end is rich and powerful, reminiscent of a dreadnought. The midrange has the character and presence of an OM, while the trebles are clear and feature beautiful overtones.

This Martin is from 2024 and has some minor superficial dings and scratches on the body. Otherwise, it looks very clean and well cared for and is in excellent condition. Comes in a TKL hardshell case with TFOA passport.
