Kiso Suzuki MF-250 Mandolin Sunburst Japan

Up for sale is a Kiso Suzuki MF-250 mandolin finished in a classic sunburst finish. This is a vintage Japanese-made mandolin with traditional styling, bound body, bound neck, f-holes, and a great overall look.

We recently cleaned and restrung the instrument here at the shop. It plays nicely with comfortable, low action and a smooth feel up and down the neck.

This mandolin has an aftermarket pickup installed. The pickup is mounted externally with the output jack attached near the lower side of the body. It is functioning as intended and makes this a useful option for live performance, recording, or amplified practice.

Cosmetically, the instrument shows normal wear and tear consistent with age and use, including various light scratches, small dings, finish marks, and hardware oxidation. There is also a Fishman sticker on the back, as shown in the photos, though the installed pickup is not a Fishman pickup.

Overall, this is a nice-playing vintage Kiso Suzuki mandolin with low action, attractive sunburst finish, and an added pickup for amplified use.
