Here’s a 1997 LP Special Double cut “fancy” edition. Some things that set it apart from a standard LPS DC are the gloss finish, bound neck, and true ABR 1 bridge.
It’s been around, but still sounds and plays great. It definitely has a cool vibe to it. I’ve listed the details below and noted any issues so there are no surprises for the buyer.
The pups and electronics are all original as far as I can tell, with the exception of the output jack and plate. The originals are included. There are no breaks or cracks. The pickguard is non-original. The frets are of the low / wide Gibson type and are in pretty good shape.
The neck is a 60’s thin profile. As you can see from the pic, there is a fair amount of thread sticking out from the truss rod, but it functions as it should. The A string tuner is a little cockeyed from a screw hole being wallowed out. It works just fine though. Lastly, the truss rod cover is cracked and warped.
Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Thanks for looking.
