The RAT is known for its rich distortion and moderately aggressive sound.
Turn up the gain for a metallic tone, or keep the gain low to use it as an edgy distortion booster for chord-driven R&R, grunge, and other genres.
It is a classic distortion pedal loved by countless musicians both in Japan and abroad.
Based on the pot date, it is believed to have been manufactured around 1993.
It uses a National Semiconductor LM308N IC.
