Jupiter XO JTR-1624S-R Silver C Trumpet! Excellent!

One of several professional C trumpets we are offering for sale.  This is an XO 1624S-R in silver.  If you’re not familiar with XO, the short story is that it was Jupiter high-end, custom line which did so well that it’s now being treated as its own company.They are truly exceptional horns.  .462 bore, handcrafted B5 bell, really cool hidden reversed leadpipe, reversed second slide, Monel pistons.  A very focused sound, consistently reviewed as having excellent slotting and requiring less effort than a typical pro C.  Includes both light and heavy bottom caps, pearl and metal finger buttons, brass and nylon valve guides, and light and medium piston springs to customize the feel and response. 

This one is in excellent condition:  plating about 99.9% with little if any wear at all, some small dings left over from dent removal on the 2nd tuning slide, and perhaps some tiny signs of light dent removal on near the bell crook—all of which are hard to see unless you’re really looking for them.  It is truly a great-looking horn.  Sorry about the glare in the photos; it’s so shiny that even natural light with no flash made it hard to capture clearly. Valves are fast and smooth and quiet, all tuning slides free.  Just lubed, polished, and had a new water key cork installed.

Comes in a really nice faux leather double case with zippered exterior pockets and well-made integrated backpack straps.

MSRP $4,614, usually sells new at the discount places for $2,899-$2,999.  So . . . save about a thousand bucks, and snatch up one in the nicest condition you could hope for just in time for a new year at conservatory!
