An excellent example from the Rat's heyday!
The Rat was one of the early distortion circuits, and has been used by countless pros ever since its introduction. This particular example, dated by its original CTS pots, is from 1986 and features the fabled LM308 chip. Sounds exceptional no matter how you set the controls. Use it as a lighter drive, or stack two together ala Graham Coxon from Blur.
Cosmetic condition is good for its age. This example features some noticeable tarnishing to the enclosure, however is still legible. This one features a sticker near the power supply which indicates 'reverse polarity'. Hardware and electronics are fully functional. Includes the original box and papers.
