1979 Kramer XL8 Aluminum Neck 8 String Bass Guitar

Here’s a very rare Kramer XL8 aluminum neck 8 string bass guitar. This was made around 1979,  give or take a year. 

This bass is in the condition evident in the photos. It’s in good shape, but is scratched up and has holes from a thumb rest which is no longer present and where the strap buttons must have been previously located. This bass has a BADASS bridge and Schaller tuners, which are believed to be original. The black painted pickups and Speed Knobs may also be original, but it’s tough to know. The black finish is original and does show some shrinking and a crack on the next pocket.  This bass is very heavy and I’m not responsible for your chiropractor bills. 

The instrument will be packed in it’s original case, inside of a stuffed cardboard shipping carton.
