Offered for sale is an original AKG C24 stereo tube condenser microphone manufactured by AKG in Vienna, Austria. The AKG C24 is one of the most respected stereo microphones ever produced. It is the stereo counterpart of the legendary AKG C12 and employs the same CK12 brass-ring capsules together with the original AKG output transformer design that established the C12 as one of the world's finest studio microphones. This microphone is fully functional and ready for professional recording. The microphone retains its original CK12 capsules, original output transformers and original internal circuitry. The only replaced component inside the microphone is the vacuum tube.

The original power supply has been replaced with a modern Drefahl Audio remote power supply manufactured in Germany. Drefahl Audio is well known for producing high-quality power supplies for classic tube microphones, providing reliable operation while preserving the microphone's intended operating conditions.

The microphone carries an original ORF (Österreichischer Rundfunk) inventory marking, documenting its former use by the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation.
